ARTISTS
The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) is proud to announce that 14 artists were recently chosen to exhibit their original work in The Foster Gallery’s Fall Rotation through December 2, 2017. The artists are Melody Bogle, Jacques Camp, Donelle Clark, Connie Dismukes, Katherine Duda, Celeste Jones, Linda Kernick, Mark Messerly, Rosalyn O’Grady, Mary Redmann, Kathleen Schumacher, Jenna Varney, Krista Vind, and Chandler Williams. Selected by jury, all artists are members of the Cultural Arts Alliance and each will exhibit six to ten pieces of work in their own section of the gallery.

Additionally, we are excited to share that 32 artists were recently chosen to exhibit their original work in The Foster Gallery’s CAA Member Juried Exhibition through December 3, 2017. The artists selected include Charlotte Arnold, Diane Black, Jacques Camp, Kevin Campbell, Donnelle Clark, Curt Couch, Joanna Ellington, Ian Fagan, Grace Gisselqist, Theresa Grill Laird, Victoria Guennewig, Linda Kernick, Dolores King, Sharon Long, Susan Lucas, Dana Maher, Michael McCarty, Theresia McInnis, Mark Messerly, Shelley Minchew, Melanie Moore, Denise Nosal, Rosalyn O’Grady, Marian Pacsuta, Kyle Paxton, Betty Pinkston, Mary Redmann, Lori Schinelli, Dorothy Starbuck, Jenna Varney, Joan Vienot, and Steve Wagner. Selected by jury, all artists are members of the Cultural Arts Alliance and each will exhibit one to two pieces of work in this special exhibition.

RECEPTION
The public is invited to join us in celebrating all of the selected artists at our upcoming reception onThursday, September 28 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Enjoy tasty sips and snacks while perusing all of the beautiful works on display and available for purchase. Cash awards will be presented for the CAA Member Juried Exhibition for Best in Show ($500), Awards of Merit ($250), People’s Choice ($100), and Honorable Mention ($75).

CALL FOR ARTISTS
The CAA and Howard Hospitality are currently inviting all CAA member artists to submit an application to be considered for our upcoming #ArtMatters Public Exhibition at the Hyatt Place hotel in Grand Boulevard’s Town Center. Details can be found online at www.CulturalArtsAlliance.com. Deadline for submission is Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 11:59 p.m.

THE FOSTER GALLERY
Founded in May 2016, The Foster Gallery is an artist collective led by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County that features at least a dozen artists on a seasonally rotating basis, along with special exhibits, including the annual CAA juried show, One Size Fits All, and invitationals throughout the year. Named for the late Susan Foster, founder of the Cultural Arts Alliance and one of the area’s first professional artists and gallery owners, The Foster Gallery also symbolizes the support the CAA strives to provide for artists in our community.

Located in Grand Boulevard Town Center at 560 Grand Blvd., Ste. L101 in Miramar Beach, The Foster Gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. The gallery is also available for outside group rental for workshops, meetings, classes, parties, and other special events.

NEW ART IN PUBLIC SPACES SPECIAL EXHIBITION
