Really Cecilia?
Seems Cecilia Jones was approached earlier this week by someone who signed the letter to the Editor in last weeks paper regarding the fiasco she is calling an "Independent Investigation".
Evidently the person who approached her believes that what he signed was not true regarding the investigative report.
Fact: DeDe Hinote and Brad Alford were NOT allowed to have their attorney's present during their inquisition.
Fact: The results of that fiasco ARE EXACTLY WHAT PEOPLE EXPECTED TO READ and NO ONE was disappointed because we have learned not to expect anything out of this BCC...that's exactly what we have gotten too...nothing!
Fact: For this to have been what you are calling an "Independent Investigation" it would have had to have been a disinterested and independent attorney to any of the people, county, and issues that could or would have been the subject of the investigation. That DID NOT happen! The firm hired had a long standing contract with the County which the County had allowed to lapse while keeping the firm on the payroll and had paid them right up until the end of Nov. for invoices they submitted to the County.
Fact: By the County Attorney's (Sydney Noyes) and County Administrator Larry Jones own admission THEY INSTRUCTED the Constangy law firm to disregard anything outside the scope of their investigation even though YOUR HUSBAND Jerry Jones) was DIRECTLY INVOLVED in the harassment of both employees who came forward.
Fact: If the Constangy Law Firm had to be directed in how to proceed with an investigation (even though "they deal with these types of complaints and issues statewide") then the County Attorney and Administrator should NOT HAVE BEEN DIRECTING any part of the fiasco you are calling an "independent Investigation".
Fact: There were at least 50 signatures (mine included) on that letter and only one person came to you with concerns??? Really???
Had you said that 30 of them came to you this might not be so comical. Both the County Administrator and the County Attorney know who signs their paycheck Cecilia and in order to keep drawing them (they know you have a monopoly on the board) they did exactly what they were instructed to do!
