Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cash and all related assets, ensuring controls are in place and exercised
- Coordinate and manage required financial audits
- Ensure timely and accurate budget analysis and financial review for senior management team and owners
- Create, maintain and manage department budgets
- Provide timely and accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Recommend and develop policies, procedures and systems to meet company objectives
- Implement and track company compensation plan
- Process real estate sales commission checks
- Recommend efforts to improve ROI performance
Maintain banking and other financial relationships - Stay abreast of trends and regulations to ensure compliance
- Align financial policies and procedures with company objectives
- Establish and maintain financial reporting systems and controls to ensure compliance with company expenditure requirements
- Assess company needs with regard to risk management and secure appropriate coverage
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 5+ Years of accounting experience
- Experience with real estate brokerage accounting preferred
- Should have strong analytical problem solving skills
- Ability to strategically plan ahead for up to a 2 year time span
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- A sense of urgency coupled with a high level if initiative and drive
- Possess technical skills and mastery of Quickbooks
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis, as well as, cash flow management
