Pieces from Habitat's ReStore will be repurposed and available for bid by featured designers: Marisol Gullo, 2017 South Walton Artist of the Year, Maxine Organe of Maxine Orange Art & Design, and Jennifer Jones with Compass Builders.

As a plated lunch is served, women will hear from "Who Built You Up?" guest speaker Dr. Kimberly Hood OB/GYN, Habitat women homeowners will share their stories, committee members will recognize dedicated advocates, and the 2017 Power Woman of the Year will be awarded! Habitat for Humanity of Walton County: Women Build Week May 5-13, 2017

A National program of Habitat for Humanity sponsored by Lowe’s, Women Build Week brings women together from all walks of life who want to make a profound difference for families in their community with Habitat’s vision of everyone having a safe, affordable place to live.

This year we’ve added more ways for women to come together in the spirit of empowerment and impact. In addition to Women Build days, we’re kicking the week off with a women’s empowerment luncheon, Hard Hats & High Heels. Also new to WBW is Slay + Rosé: Buti Yoga, a healthy way to spend time with girlfriends and sweat with intention.

Volunteers at Women Builds will meet the family they are helping, spend time with friends and colleagues, and learn construction skills that are useful in their own homes. This will be exciting work and Habitat Walton County welcomes all beginners and skill levels. Volunteers may work several shifts or just one, and will be trained on the job site. Sign up to volunteer at WaltonCountyHabitat.org.
