WINE MAKER DINNERS Thursday Nov 2 at 6pm: Cafe Thirty-A, Wine World at WaterColor, Seagar's Prime Steaks and Seafood
Tickets $150 on sale now (limited availability)

Producers of Harvest Wine & Food Festival, Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF), announced that Gamble Family Vineyards, Magnolia Blossom, and Rudd Oakville Estate will host the festival’s Celebrity Winemaker Dinners. The festival will present three dinners, each headlined by a high-end winery and hosted at various restaurants throughout the South Walton Area on Thursday, November 2 at 6:00 p.m.

Tickets to the dinners are $150 and are on sale now along with all other festival events at www.HarvestWineandFood.com.

National Sales Manager, Michael Kasper will represent Gamble Family Vineyards at Café Thirty-A. Kasper joined the Gamble team in March 2017 and brings with him over 15 years of experience handling luxury wine brands. Napa-based winery, Gamble Family Vineyards was founded by third-generation farmer, Tom Gamble, with a primary focus on Bordeaux varietals including Sauvignon Blanc. All of Gamble Family Vineyards’ wines are produced in small quantities with careful attention to farming.

Founding vintner Pat Roberts of Magnolia Blossom will showcase his portfolio of wines at Wine World in WaterColor alongside Champagne Delamotte. The inspiration behind the Sonoma-based boutique brand came from the family’s matriarch, Magnolia, and produces premium Russian River Chardonnay and Pinot Noir as well as Rockpile Cabernet. At more than 250 years old, Delamotte is the fifth oldest Champagne house founded in Reims in 1760 by Francois Delamotte. Their product is characterized as subtle, profound, and rich with the aromas and flavors that create outstanding Champagne.

Presented by Krueger, Fosdyck and Associates - Merrill Lynch, Harvest Wine & Food Festival’s final Celebrity Winemaker Dinner, hosted at Seagar’s Prime Steaks and Seafood, will feature Estate Director Oscar Henquet and wine grower Frederick Ammons of Rudd Oakville Estate. Rudd’s high scoring wines showcase a complex balance of fruit and freshness produced from mature vines in the estate’s complementary terroirs of core stone volcanics and alluvial fan.

Each dinner will showcase highly rated, luxury wines from each respective portfolio, complimented by a perfectly paired, multi-course menu provided by each restaurant.

Harvest Wine & Food Festival, scheduled for November 2 – 5 in WaterColor, FL, is shaping up to be South Walton’s hottest new event. The festival is poised to be one of the Southeast’s premier fall events and will provide patrons the opportunity to sip and savor some of the world’s finest wine and culinary selections while enjoying the beautiful beach town of WaterColor.

Currently ranked number three “Top Charity Wine Auction in the US” by Wine Spectator Magazine, DCWAF is one of the nation’s premier fundraising organizations, raising money for 15 Northwest Florida children’s charities that assist at-risk youth in the local community by tackling a variety of issues including homelessness, food insecurity, mental health, education, medical care and much more.

Harvest Wine & Food Festival UPDATE

DESTIN CHARITY WINE AUCTION FOUNDATION TO BREAK FROM TRADITION IN SUPPORT OF NAPA AND SONOMA COUNTY WILDFIRE RELIEF AT HARVEST WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL

A virtual paddle raise will be available via the festival’s mobile bidding platform, 501 Auctions

In light of the recent wildfires in California, the team at Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF) is breaking from tradition to raise funds in support of the wine industry in Napa and Sonoma Counties via a virtual paddle raise during Harvest Wine & Food Festival. The paddle raise will be available throughout the festival through DCWAF’s official mobile bidding platform, 501 Auctions. Donation cards will also be available at each seat during Thursday’s Celebrity Winemaker Dinners hosted at Café Thirty-A, The Wine Bar- WaterColor, and Seagar’s Prime Steaks and Seafood.

Bidders do not need to have a ticket to the festival to participate in the virtual paddle raise and silent auction. Registration is available at www.501auctions.com/hwff.

“Since the Foundation’s inception in 2005, our friends in the wine industry have been critical to the success of DCWAF and our mission of helping children in need in Northwest Florida,” said Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation president John Russell. “There is an opportunity for our community, one that has benefited from the generosity of the wine industry, to show our commitment to them by giving something back in their time of need.”
