2:00 p.m.
Free and open to the public! Meet and park at Bay Elementary School at
the corner of Gilmore Road and County Road 395.

Walk the old roads of Historic Point Washington. See the ruins of the
sawmill that made Point Washington a thriving lumbertown more than 100 years ago, the Wesley mansion at Eden State Gardens, the general store, Bay
School, the Methodist Church, the
Community Cemetery, the ferry landing, and several old houses that give
Point Washington its character and historical importance in Walton County.

The walk is approximately one mile long and will be guided in small
groups by local residents.

The Historic Walking Tour is free and open to the public, and is
organized and sponsored by the Historic Point Washington Association. For more information, please call 231-4633 or e-mail shallownole@yahoo.com .
