Jan. 18th - 7:30pm: Live @ The REP- The Honey Dewdrops
In the summer of 2014, after a long stretch of living on the road, performing and writing across the U.S., Americana songwriters and Virginia natives Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish, collectively known as THE HONEY DEWDROPS, decided to settle down in Baltimore, MD. "Touring is like collecting images of landscapes, sounds of voices, contents of stories, moods of places and environments," says Wortman. "All of that can be useful. It tells you something about human nature, about how the world works, little by little.” And so the couple took their experiences on the road, and dug in to write and record their fourth album, TANGLED COUNTRY, in their new home. It’s a beautiful and engaging take on modern American roots music and the first album of theirs entirely written, arranged, and recorded in one place; a testament to the power of home.

NAMED "BEST GROUP/DUO" in the 2014 International Acoustic Music Awards (IAMA’s), acoustic-duo Ryanhood got their first break more than a decade ago as street-performers at Boston’s Quincy Market. It was there that Ryan Green and Cameron Hood were spotted by a college booking agent and thrust into the college touring scene, where Campus Activities Magazine would soon name them “one of the most requested acts by college buyers all across the country.”

CAROLINE COTTER and MICHAEL HOWARD are an Americana duo hailing from the far flung corners of Maine and Alaska, USA. CAROLINE COTTER has played over 450 shows in 42 states and 10 countries since her debut album, Dreaming as I Do, released and reached #5 on the Folk DJ Charts in 2015. With a captivating soprano voice and award winning songwriting, her travel inspired songs take listeners all over the world.
