We are at Seagrove Dunes and the combination of junegrass and the current have made it impossible to fish. It’s as calm as can be but the rip takes even the heaviest weight right down the beach! Does this kind of current last long?

If you are in a spot where there is June grass first you have to find a spot that is clear. If there is no June Grass on your line or gear then the weight will hold you in place.

Sounds like a plan. I realized this morning that the current is not the problem, it's just the weight of the algae on the line and rig. I was able to throw small spoons so I'll go with that for now.
