Here's a very important presentation about LIVING with BEARS as we do her in Walton County. South Walton Community Council will be hosting the presentation by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. As more developent continues it's important to understand these amazing creatures.

The presentation will be held on Thursday, November 9th at 6:30 PM in the Coastal Branch Library located at 637 Greenway Trail in Santa Rosa Beach, so mark your calendars.

The event is free and open to the public.

Are all the developers coming?

I'm sure its a great program, but how does it help when habitats are being chewed up weekly and forcing these creatures into family subdivisions where people don't even know what a secure trash can is???

Maybe someday we'll have a town government to oversee reasonable, planned development and also address all of our wildlife and environmental issues, including bear management.
