Ring in the New Year in Destin Fla and on the water. SunQuest Cruises is hosting its annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks, Dinner and Dancing Cruise on the SOLARIS yacht on Thursday, December 31st from 8 pm – 12:30 am. Patrons will embark on a memorable evening that includes a five-course seated dinner, live entertainment, fireworks, party favors and champagne.

“New Year’s Eve is our ultimate celebration on the water,” stated James Murray, General Manager for SunQuest Cruises. “We combine the best of all worlds from cruising our local waters to indulging in a gourmet meal to enjoying the best seat in the house for fireworks. It’s all about creating fond memories and happiness for our guests.”

Guests will enjoy the elegant fusion of the luxurious yacht, ambiance, romance, staff and entertainment at this one-of-a-kind New Year’s Eve experience. Upon being greeted on-board by Captain Matt, guests are welcomed to start the evening with a cocktail from the full-service bar while taking in the panoramic views of the Sandestin resort and marina. As everyone explores all three indoor and outdoor decks, the SOLARIS chefs are freshly preparing gourmet cuisines on-board the yacht’s galley.

While the SOLARIS cruises the local waters, the five-course culinary adventure begins with New Orleans style BBQ Shrimp and Sweet Corn Muffins, followed by a savory Blackeye Pea, Andouille and Collards soup. Next, guests will enjoy a Firecracker Greens salad with fresh wild greens, colorful peppers and Champagne Buttermilk Vinaigrette. Entrée choices include Seared Duck Breast, Braised Beef Short Ribs, Baked Grouper with Toasted Almond Butter Sauce or Roasted Harvest Vegetables. The meal concludes with a Flag Ship puff pastry dessert with cream cheese whip and fresh fruit compote.

The soiree on the water continues with live music that can be heard from all three decks. At final countdown, guests will grab party favors and raise a glass to 2016 with a midnight Champagne toast. The sky will illuminate above as patrons enjoy the best seat in the house for the fireworks show from the nearby Sandestin resort. Sandestin also offers a variety of accommodations on-property for anyone seeking a worry-free night.

The SOLARIS New Year’s Eve Fireworks and Dinner Cruise is an all-inclusive event for $115 per person, including a 4 ½ hour cruise, five-course meal, live entertainment, fireworks, party favors and champagne. All guests over 21 are welcomed to attend. Reservations required online or by calling 850.650.2519.
