Hello. it's been years since I've posted but I hope someone can tell is there a permit required and any recommended spots for crabbing?

Haven't seen many blues along the shore in the gulf but there are quite a few calicos. Just leave all the females with eggs in the gulf. Calicos are smaller than the blue but mighty tasty.
