Scenic 30a Closed Between Grayton Beach And Blue Mountain Beach [re-opened]

A sinkhole opened up on 30a just west of 283. The road is closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic in that area until further notice. Walton County Emergency Management, Walton County Public Works, and the Sheriff's Ofc. are on scene.

Walton County Sheriff's Office is currently on scene just west of County Highway 283 and County Highway 30A in reference to a hole that has swallowed the roadway.

The hole is on County Highway 30a and runs culvert to culvert near the lake and is approximately 50 feet long, 75 feet wide and about 15 feet deep.

Public Works has been notified.
