It was in Sowal. Not sure it's still there. My understanding is that it was at the Courthouse Annex.

The fact it should never have been there in the first place is totally irrelevant.

At a courthouse handicapped parking space...

Glad it was moved - but remember that while they are technically courthouse handicapped parking spaces, they are on the BACK side of the parking lot, adjacent to the woods. A handicapped person parking in them would have to go all the way across the parking lot and halfway back out to Coastal Centre to come in the front door of the Courthouse Annex.
They were put there in anticipation of the construction of the Judicial Center, which was to be built to house a proper courtroom and the Clerk of Court in South Walton. Not sure what ever happened to that plan.

The issue is not where it was located as much as it was being in a HANDICAPPED parking space. Its against the law!
