Sweetbay Montessori Now Accepting Enrollment Applications for 2018/2019 School Year

Santa Rosa Beach, FL—(June 19, 2018) Sweetbay Montessori will open this fall for school year 2018/2019 on August 13. This new private Montessori school offers an early childhood class including kindergarten (ages 3-6), and a lower elementary class for students ages 6-9 (grades 1-3). The Sweetbay Montessori campus is located at 75 Bay Grove Boulevard, only seven minutes north of Hwy. 98 and 10 minutes from Hammock Bay.

Sweetbay Montessori School exemplifies the standards of an authentic Montessori school, providing an educational environment that cultivates independence, self-confidence, leadership and innovative thinking. In addition to regular school hours of 8am-2:30pm, Sweetbay also offers before and after school programs for its students from 7:30am to 5:30pm.

The Sweetbay campus is located on a quiet street, in a newly renovated 1,844 sq. ft beautiful building featuring a fenced-in outdoor play area with a natural playground and organic gardens…all to inspire students’ creativity and to nourish their appreciation for nature.

“By fostering independence, firing their imaginations, and allowing them to pursue their passions, Montessori has instilled a love of learning in our children,” says Michael Howland, current Sweetbay Montessori Parent. “We couldn’t be happier with the education they are receiving at Sweetbay Montessori.”

South Walton is the nation’s fifth fastest growing county, with a current population of 30,000 full-time residents, predicted to double in the next five years. Now, more than ever, there is a crucial need for more educational options in the area. Sweetbay Montessori’s goal is to help fulfill the need for more quality schools in our county.

Ms. Joyce, who has 17 years of teaching experience, will be the Elementary Lead Teacher and Head of School at Sweetbay Montessori.

Makes me happy to see the Montessori way spread and become part of our education community. Such a wonderful alternative for families for young children. One I'll always appreciate at South Walton Montessori Academy... The first to open about 12 years ago in Rosemary Beach... The school found its place in Point Washington several years ago. A special place for students, families and teachers.
