SoWal locals LOVE Halloween almost more than anything. It is one of the most fun times at the beach with costume contests, parties, trick or treat places, and some uniquely SoWal events all around town. We're starting to hear from our friends and partners and will keep you posted on all things scary coming to the beach. Here is something for the little ones...

Trunk to Treat Costume Parade: 10:30am

Walton County Coastal Library will be hosting Trunk to Treat children’s costume party parade on Thursday, October 26, 2017,at 10:30 a.m. Parents are invited to decorate their car trunks from their favorite children’s story, poem or book, “The Itsy Bitsy Spider”, “The Five Little Pumpkins” or a spooky holiday theme of their choice and hand out candy for the children.

In honor of Fire Prevention month, Fireman Sammy will teach about fire prevention, fire equipment, and teach the mechanics of the fire engine beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the costume parade beginning at 10:30 a.m. These two special events are being held during our regularly scheduled “Preschool Story Hour Class” that meets Thursdays, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

For parents interested in participating, please speak with Shirles Andrews to coordinate car parking.
