The private Greg Norman-designed Shark’s Tooth Golf Club is the centerpiece of the Wild Heron community, located 10 miles away from the Town of WaterSound. The course stretches to 7,209 yards from the back tees and features fi ve fairways that border scenic Lake Powell. With majestic live oaks and loblolly pines coupled with acres of preserved wetlands, it is easy to see why Golf Digest voted Shark’s Tooth the fi fth best golf course in all of Florida.
This outstanding course is now part of the golf collection at WaterColor Inn & Resort. The second nine has a few stunning holes, like the par-5 13th and par-3 14th, which feature Lake Powell lurking on the right side. Fairways flow straight into the low profile greens while the forced carries over wetlands add beauty and challenge.
