Students Helping Our Community was formed under our parent organization Community Walton for middle and school students to experience giving back to the community through volunteering, while creating fun and memorable experiences.
Our mission is to "see a problem, seek a solution". We seek to alleviate suffering by fostering solutions through education, information, and intervention--touching the lives of all our neighbors in Walton County. Each personal crisis, disaster, or even simple need, will be met with human kindness and empathy. We believe that our "corporate citizens" should become partners in our mission so that our entire community reflects the goodness of our people. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month, 5:30 at the Coastal branch library.
