Altar'd State - A Boutique that Gives Back Now Open in Grand Boulevard
July 24, 2013 by SoWal Staff
A popular clothing boutique called Altar’d State, which specializes in giving back, officially opened its doors in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin in March. The store was delighted by a warm welcome and hopes to keep the positive momentum as more shoppers discover this unique approach to retail. Altar’d State differentiates from other boutiques by giving back and offering a distinctive shopping experience for women interested in the latest fashion finds, the most anticipated accessories, or that next great gift.
Whether she is 16 or 60, the common thread is her desire to share her personality through stylish, comfortable, and on-trend clothes, shoes and accessories. The company’s home office is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Miramar Beach location is the first in Florida and one of 20 stores located throughout Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Kentucky, Texas, Missouri and Virginia. Altar’d State also offers an online retail store here.
Customers can feel good about shopping at Altar’d State as most purchases “give back” in some way. Altar'd State has Mission Mondays, when the company donates 10% of net proceeds to various local charities every Monday. Altar’d State also gives back through an in-house clothing line in which a portion of every purchase goes to feed, clothe, educate and shelter children in need. The company also seeks vendor partners that share their philosophy of giving. For example, TOMS shoes, FashionABLE scarves, Krochet Kids and FEED are available at most locations and each offer something back to those in need.
Altar'd State is open Monday - Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday.
