Clark Partington Attorneys At Law Ready To Serve In Grayton Beach

April 8, 2016 by Manny Chavez

South Walton locals rely on Clark Partington Attorneys at Law located in Grayton Beach for expert legal services. The local office serves our community, but is able to draw on the experience of the firm’s 41 lawyers in five regional locations. Established 1976 in Pensacola, the firm opened its first SoWal office in 2013, bringing a breadth of legal experience and services to our area.

Attorney Kirby Williams manages the Clark Partington Grayton Beach office located at on County Hwy 283 South in the Grayton Beach Plaza, located just north of the Shops at Grayton.

“The real estate market started to take off again in 2013 and our firm realized the need to have a presence here,” explains Kirby. “My kids were already in SoWal schools and I’ve always liked the lifestyle here. The atmosphere here on Scenic 30A is totally different from that of Destin. We see our clients here on a daily basis and we enjoy that.”

Also on board at the new Grayton Beach office is attorney Farrar Barker who splits her time between the firm's Destin and Grayton Beach offices. Rounding out the office staff are Christy Mooney, Closing Coordinator and Debby Davis, Closing Assistant/Receptionist.

Kirby primarily specializes in real estate law including commercial and residential transactions as well as land use and developments while Farrar’s concentration is that of various legal transactional works such as buying, selling, investing, intellectual property, and negotiations.

“Our work in South Walton has really taken off,” indicates Farrar. “I’ve been with the firm four years now, having moved here from Atlanta. The work here has transitioned to more entrepreneurial small businesses as compared to established clients. More clients are realizing the need to pay more attention to copyright and trademark issues."

“In Northwest Florida, our firm offers services that local clients might have to go out of the SoWal area to find,” continues Kirby. “We have attorneys who specialize in the area of tax, estate and probate planning, and corporate/intellectual property issues. These areas are very specialized and we have knowledgeable attorneys to handle their needs.”

Asked why local clients keep coming back to Clark Partington for legal services, Kirby is quick to respond: “Nobody likes to pay attorneys, but we offer a great value at a fair price. We try to be a strong part of the community, developing friendships along the way. Our depth of expertise is unparalleled in this market. Our firm operates in such a way that we are not compensation oriented. We place our clients with the best attorney within the firm. As partners, we all share in the overall compensation rather than just the individual.”

Regarding community involvement, Clark Partington attorneys are encouraged to immerse themselves in community work. Resources, if needed, are available to individual attorneys. Both Kirby and Farrar participate in South Walton community activities including Seaside Neighborhood School, Caring & Sharing, The Lighthouse Family Retreat, Sandcastle Kids, Florida's Great Northwest, and Walton County Special Olympics.

Asked to comment on the current battle of who owns the beach, beach access, and implied customary use of the beach, Kirby is of the opinion that there won’t be a quick conclusion to the debate.

“Perhaps when the county commissioners reach their conclusion, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office will have a clear direction to follow. It doesn’t mean that it won’t be challenged. In fact, either way they side, there will be challenges.”

Both Kirby and Farrar bring an experienced, knowledgeable presence to the Grayton Beach Office. They are enthusiastic and ready to accommodate your legal needs. For more information, please call 850-650-3304 or toll free at 888-777-5105.
