Insurance Zone Opens Two New Locations

August 11, 2015 by Manny Chavez

When Joe Capers and his wife Lea opened their first Insurance Zone (IZ) office in 2007, they “started from scratch” and spent the next several years building their personal, business and life insurance commerce into what it is today. Numerous satisfied IZ customers and potential new customers flocked to their new 30A office June 30 to witness their open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Approximately 75 people attended the event which was followed by cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at Marie’s Bistro.

The second location at 2166 B W County Hwy. 30A (across from For the Health of It), can best be described as “beachy” with bright colors featured throughout the open-office floor plan. The entire IZ staff can take pride in the colorful presentation, as they all gathered recently for a full day of fine art painting at the V.LaLa Galleries located in the new 30Avenue complex. This team-building exercise resulted in the very cool paintings featured throughout the office.

The open house festivities included several giveaways and prizes including a $250 grand prize won by Todd Reeves of ID Modern Interiors and a $100 prize won by Wendy Morgan of Coastal Dreamin.

The IZ team will continue to offer their coastal businesses and homeowners with insurance products and services tailored to their individual needs. Joe and his team represent most of the premier insurance companies in the market and specialize in home, auto, business and life insurance.

Fresh on the heels of their new 30A office opening, Insurance Zone moved their Grand Boulevard office to Rufus Ray Plaza at 11275 US Hwy. 98 West in Miramar Beach. With this move, IZ now has six staff members at the 30A office, including three agents, and a staff of eight at the Miramar Beach location, including five agents. In addition to their local offices, Insurance Zone has agents in Palm Beach, Fl., Columbus, Ga., and Altanta, Ga.

One of Joe’s fun marketing campaigns has been to give away his "IZ Get Covered” pens. When he hit the 50,000 mark, he had a limited edition of “gold pens” made to commemorate the achievement. The “100,000th” pen giveaway is soon approaching and “we’ll probably have a limited number of ‘platinum’ pens made to celebrate,” says Joe. “IZ on 30A” and “IZ on 98” stickers will soon be everywhere as well.

Both Joe and Lea are excited about their current changes. Unfortunately, their two dogs “Izzy” and “Buckeye” couldn’t attend the 30A grand opening, but they will be enjoying the special fenced in area behind the new office in the very near future. As always, the Insurance Zone team is a family affair and will continue to be so at all office locations.
