UNwineD: Vines to Steins at Pier Park Oct 16-17

August 11, 2015 by SoWal Staff

Winos, beerocrats and foodies unite! UNwineD: Vines to Steins, a fine wine, craft beer, and gourmet coastal fare experience kicks off Oct. 16-17 at Aaron Bessant Park in Panama City Beach. Stroll through the park with fellow wine and beer connoisseurs and savor the flavors of fine craft beer, award-winning wine, and cuisine prepared by locally celebrated chefs.

Wine selections provided by Southern Wine & Spirits include 23 participating vineyards and wineries. Breweries serving up cold beers include: Abita Brewing, BNektar Meadery, Boulevard Brewing Company, Brewery Ommegang, Chimay, Dogfish Head Brewing Company, Fathead’s Brewery, Grayton Beer Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, New Belgium Brewing Company, Oyster City Brewing Company, and many more!

Each taste-tester will receive a complimentary UNwineD wine glass or beer stein with their ticket. And since libations and live music go hand in hand, True Soul will be performing for the crowd on Friday evening, with Heritage closing out the festival on Saturday.

Aaron Bessant Park is located at the Pier Park entertainment complex, providing ample opportunities for shopping, dining or just walking along the beach.

Weekend passes for UNwineD are $50 and single day admission is $35. A portion of all proceeds will benefit the Science & Discovery Center of Northwest Florida and the Beach Chamber Education Fund. Lodging packages are available through ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals. Must be 21 or older to attend and valid ID is required at time of entry. For ticket purchasing, complete list of breweries and wineries, or event details for UNwineD, visit unwinedpcb.com or call the Panama City Beach Chamber at (850) 235-1159.
