Amavida Roaster Tour & Coffee Tasting

Amavida Roaster Tour & Tasting takes place on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Amavida roasting headquarters. During the coffee roasting tour you’ll get to see the step-by-step process of roasting coffee. Plus, you will get to spend time with the Amavida team and learn about coffee sourcing and production. While you visit Amavida coffee roaster in South Walton, Florida, you will also get a behind-the-scenes view of the coffee business – from the barista training lab, to wholesaling coffee house products, to coffee equipment services.

Finally, once you’ve completed the tour of the certified organic coffee roasting facility, you can relax have coffee together with the group. We’ll brew pour-overs and serve you 2-3 of our freshest coffee lots. As you drink and enjoy, we will guide you through the tasting and share details about where the coffees come from and what makes them unique.

What to expect.
Coffee roaster tours last an hour, to and hour and a half.
We welcome groups of 8-10 people.
Bring a hat or be ready to wear a hair net.
Coffee will be brewed and served at the end of the tour.
You are welcome to take photos and share your experience.

Amavida Coffee Roasters is a locally owned coffee roaster with four cafe locations. We welcome coffee and tea lovers alike to come & visit us at our coffee houses in Florida. Two of our coffee shops can be found along 30a, in Seaside and Rosemary beach. The other cafes are nearby, in Miramar Beach and Historic St. Andrew’s. From our 30a cafes to Panama City, each cafe location and community have their own unique features to enjoy. Visit our Barista Training Lab and Coffee Roaster in Florida. Located in South Walton Commerce Park, our Coffee Roaster & Barista Training Lab are the pinnacle of our wholesale coffee operations. Here we receive and roast the fair trade, organic coffee we serve at our cafe locations. This is all where we work for our wholesale coffee clients, to provide specialty coffee house products, coffee brewing equipment, and advanced barista training.

For us, our Florida-based coffee Roastery is also a community space. Here we host monthly roaster tours & coffee tastings, in addition to regular barista competitions and celebrations throughout the year.
