Art on Demand | The Art of Cookie Decorating

The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County in partnership with Alys Beach & 30a.com bring you Art on Demand featuring The Art of Cookie Making with South Walton local Renee McCalmont on Wednesday, July 1 from 9 -9:30 a.m.. The event will be viewable on 30A, Alys Beach and Cultural Arts Alliance’s Facebook pages as well as available on the CAA’s YouTube channel following the broadcast. 

Learn how to make beautifully decorated sugar cookies like a pro! In this episode, Renee McCalmont will skillfully walk you through the process of making royal icing and finding the correct consistency for your project, how to “flood” a cookie using two different techniques (tip and tipless) and demonstrate how to assemble the bag with a coupler and tip. The end result will be a beautifully decorated sugar cookie that will look great and taste even better! Happy decorating!!
