Fit For Hope...
In 2017, three coworkers made a pact to get off the couch, conquer a feat of endurance, and raise some money for a good cause while doing so. Inspired by a friend who moved to Italy to care for women trafficked into sex slavery, they banded together to raise $15,000—enough to restore dignity and freedom to three affected women.

Amazingly, they were able to generate enough support to fund the creation of an emergency shelter for women searching for an escape! They were so amazed by the outpouring of support they received, they decided to share their vision of leveraging fitness to improve their lives and the lives of others with the world.

As a result, Fit For Hope was born.

Point Washington State Forest is a 15,000-acre forest which is home to more than ten miles of trails to challenge bikers, hikers and nature lovers. One of the most popular is the route from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden, where visitors to Point Washington may spot an endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise, a species of special concern to environmentalists.
