AUG 1 | 2-3pm
Sea Turtles
The majestic Sea Turtles have begun another reproductive season. Last year was one of the best on record at the park. Learn the basic facts about common Sea Turtles found at Topsail.  Be a part of an enlightening program and see what you can do to help preserve these awe inspiring creatures of the sea. This program will take place in the clubhouse, upon entering the park the staff will direct you to the clubhouse, entry fee is 6.00. This program is suitable for all ages.
 
AUG 8 | 2-3pm
Dragonflies
They are one of the neatest insects in the world. They are fun to watch and help to reduce the mosquito population. This program not only educates you about the Dragon Fly, but also uses caught specimens and the creation of your own Dragon Fly to help visitors appreciate these flying wonders.  Enter the park through the main gate and the staff will direct you to the park's clubhouse, entry fee is $6.00.
 
AUG 13 | 2-3pm
Coyotes
Topsail Hill Preserve State park invites you to come learn about our most ubiquitous exotic mammal, the Coyote. This program will cover everything you need to know about Coyotes, where they live, how they survive, and how we manage them in our parks. This is an all ages program  Park entry fee is $6 and the park staff will direct you to the clubhouse where the program will be held.
 
AUG 15 | 2-3pm
Coastal Dune Lakes
These globally imperiled rare coastal dune lakes are found only in a few places worldwide, including right here at Topsail Hill Preserve. Come learn what makes these lakes so special and what is being done to protect them. Enter the park through the main gate and the staff will direct you to the park's clubhouse, entry fee is $6.00.
 
AUG 22 | 2-3pm
Birds of Prey
Topsail Hill Preserve State Park invites you to come learn about our birds of prey. This area plays host to a large number of winged hunters. This program will help you to identify them, and it will also cover types of prey, habits, where to find them, and much more. This is an all ages program and will take place in the clubhouse. Park entry fee is $6.00.
 
AUG 29 | 2-3pm
Hike to No Name Lake
Come join us on a hike to view the parks natural beauty. This ranger led hike will take you through several of the ecosystems that make this park unique. The walk will culminate on the shore of No Name Lake and perhaps with a glimpse of the resident alligator. Please no open toe shoes.  Park entry fee is $6.00 and you will meet the ranger at Tram Stop 1.
