Camp Helen Americana Music at the Lodge

Americana Concerts in the Lodge at Camp Helen State Park are back! The concert series will take place every other Saturday from January 8 - March 5 at 6:00pm. Admission is free.

Limited seats will be available for each show. REGISTER HERE in advance. Only guests with reserved tickets will be allowed inside, but fans not able to attend live shows can watch online thanks to Visit Panama City Beach’s sponsorship. Details will be on the FOCH Facebook page the week of each show.

Camp Helen State Park is a place where visitors can explore an environment rich in natural and cultural resources. The park is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico on three sides, and by Lake Powell, one of the largest coastal dune lakes in Florida. Prehistoric middens and mounds indicate that humans inhabited the area more than 4,000 years ago. From 1945 until 1987 Camp Helen was a company resort for the employees of an Alabama textile mill, known as Avondale Mills. Some of those buildings have now been restored. This 180-acre park is for day use only. Activities include swimming, beachcombing, nature study, hiking and both freshwater and saltwater fishing.

Camp Helen State Park is located west of Panama City Beach on U.S. 98 at the west end of the Phillips Inlet bridge, just inside Bay County. The entrance is South of U.S. Hwy 98 and approximately six miles west of State Road 79.
