The Capes & Crowns Fun Run and 5K is back at the Village of Baytowne Wharf on Saturday, Jan. 30. Dress up as your favorite superhero or glittering princess for a magical experience for the entire family! The 5K begins at 9 am and the Half-Mile Fun Run begins at 10 am.
The race course winds through the beautiful Village of Baytowne Wharf. The Village is the heart and soul of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and the gathering place for everyone visiting, living or working along the Emerald Coast.
Baytowne Wharf features restaurants, bars, shops, and family-friendly activities throughout the village. Sitting on the shore of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the area pieces together elements of an old fishing village and a New Orleans marketplace, making the atmosphere fun and relaxing.
Enjoy a day of family fun complete with face painting, superhero and princess appearences from Enchanted Parties, a family-friendly post-race party with games, and complimentary post-race craft beer from Grayton Beer Company! Cash prizes will be awarded for the two overall finishers of the 5K race (Overall Male/Overall Female).
