What: "Dirty Pour" A Beginner's Intro to Acrylic Pour Methods at Bayou Arts Center

Come relax and have some acrylic fun Saturday, Sept. 21at at the Bayou Arts Center from 1-4 PM. Join artist Judy Jean Dewar for a beginner’s workshop introducing acrylic pour methods and complete three projects – a mini canvas swirl, a 5″ X 7″ dirty pour on canvas, and a 10″ X 10″ wooden gallery panel. Almost everything you need will be provided in the $20 kit.

Cost is $40/CAA members; $45/nonmembers + $20 supply kit. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.

Included in the $20 kit fee are: a mini canvas, a 5 X 7 canvas, and a 10 X 10 wooden gallery panel, paints, Flotrol, silicone, brush, putty scraper, paint catch container, measuring and mixing cups, wooden stir sticks, nitrile gloves.

Supplies you need to bring: roll of paper towels, apron (wear old clothes), safety or regular glasses, drinks (water is provided).

The Bayou Arts Center is located at 105 Hogtown Bayou Lane off County Road 393 North in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

What a peaceful place to let your artist soul soar at the Bayou Arts Center on Hogtown Bayou. The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) offers a dynamic collection of weekly workshops throughout the year. All classes are open to the public to reserve.  Classes take place at the Bayou Arts Center on Hogtown Bayou Lane, a picturesque setting on the water among the marshes sure to inspire any artist, novice or experienced.

The year long class schedule includes, but is not limited to watercolor, pastel, drawing, photography, zentagle, ice dying, glass mosaics, portraits and figure drawing. Nationally renowned artists travel to South Walton specifically for the purpose of sharing their talent with our community by teaching classes. South Walton area artists teach classes weekly. Find your class and register online.
