Celebrate Earth Day weekend with a fun coastal cleanup at Mattie Kelly Park and Nature Walk in Destin hosted by the City of Destin and the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance! Saturday April 21 from 8-10am, participants are encouraged to walk the shoreline or launch your kayak/paddleboard at Joe's Bayou Boat Launch in a collective effort to gather and remove as much debris as possible.
Free t-shirts will be provided!
The Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance of Northwest Florida State College is an organization committed to sustaining and providing optimum utilization of the Choctawhatchee Basin watershed. Under the auspices of the NWF State College, the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance provides opportunities for citizens, educators, and technical experts to promote the health of the Choctawhatchee Basin watershed.
