The Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance (CBA), in partnership with Visit South Walton and Northwest Florida State College, presents a series of Spring eco-adventures in South Walton County. Discover Roads Less Traveled offers visitors and residents varied opportunities to explore and discover the natural resources that make South Walton unique.

Paddle Excursion: Eden Gardens to Peach Creek

Time: 9-11:30am
We will launch from Eden Gardens State Park, paddling Tucker Bayou to Peach Creek. Discussion topics will include marsh ecosystems and the history of Choctawhatchee logging.
Moderate or higher exertion level, depending on wind conditions. Participants are asked to bring forecast compatible clothing and personal comfort items (i.e. sunscreen, bug spray, etc.). Kayak or stand-up paddleboard (SUP) rental included in the cost of the tour.
Space is limited to 8 participants. Minimum of 4.
Location: Meet at Eden Gardens State Park, 181 Eden Dr, Santa Rosa Beach
Fee: $60 + park entry fee
