Details
Join a Ranger for a family friendly First Day Hike on The Turpentine Trail at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Dune Allen Beach. This hike will start off with a short tram ride followed by a 1.5 mile hike traversing an area dominated by slash pines and some old growth longleaf pines. January 1, 2016 from 9:00am til 10:30am.
Meet at the Tram stop adjacent to the main day use parking area behind the Ranger Station. Make sure that you are dressed in apparel appropriate for the weather. Don’t forget to bring binoculars, camera, water and wear comfortable, closed toed walking shoes.
Topsail Hill Preserve State Park is located in Dune Allen Beach on the west end of Scenic 30A. This beautiful preserve is filled with forests, beaches, trails, camp grounds, coastal dune lakes and wildlife. Come out and discover this award winning Florida State Park. Read more at SoWal Parks Guide.
