Food For Thought Benefit at Chiringo

You're invited to join Food For Thought and Chiringo for a Labor Day weekend benefit! Come out to Chiringo Sunday, September 1 from 2PM - 8PM for a fun afternoon full of oyster shunkin' with 30A Oyster, BBQ, drink specials, and more. 15% of proceeds will be donated to Food For Thought Outreach Inc and organizers will be accepting additional donations.

Food For Thought is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Santa Rosa Beach, FL that provides backpacks filled with healthy, easy to prepare food for students who are dependent on free or reduced school meals. Our goal is to support a child’s development and educational experience by bridging the gap between school meals during weekends and holiday breaks.  Food For Thought has been working to fight child hunger since 2010, and in the 2017-2018 school year will serve 29 schools in Walton and Okaloosa Counties, providing backpacks for 2,500 students each week. The two story restaurant/bar is open air whenever possible. TVs upstairs and down for football season, of course. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
