The first morning will be on the drawing and underpainting. After that, the demonstrations will be on how to finish the painting. More experienced painters who work faster might want to bring an extra canvas in case they have time to do a second painting. Dorothy will bring some reference photos, but she encourages you to bring your own.

The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) offers a dynamic collection of weekly workshops throughout the year. All classes are open to the public to reserve. Classes take place at the Bayou Arts Center on Hogtown Bayou Lane, a picturesque setting on the water among the marshes sure to inspire any artist, novice or experienced.
The year long class schedule includes, but is not limited to watercolor, pastel, drawing, photography, zentagle, ice dying, glass mosaics, portraits and figure drawing. Nationally renowned artists travel to South Walton specifically for the purpose of sharing their talent with our community by teaching classes. South Walton area artists teach classes weekly.
