Details
Emerald Coast Convention & Visitor Bureau in collaboration with The Crab Trap/James Lee Park, and Henderson State Park will host a beach cleanup on Saturday, September 21st in honor of International Coastal Cleanup Day. The family-friendly event starts at 8 a.m. and includes free t-shirts on a first-come, first-serve basis the morning of the event. Prizes will be awarded for the most cigarette butts collected and a social media photo contest!
Online Registration Required - and limited! Check-in will begin at 8AM at The Crab Trap/James Lee Park and Henderson Beach State Park.
Due to space restrictions, there are only 75 volunteer slots available for The Crab Trap/James Lee Park location and 75 volunteer slots available for Henderson Beach State Park location. All volunteers are invited to a post-cleanup pancake breakfast at The Crab Trap in Destin.
What to Bring: Your Own Collection Bucket, Reusable Hand Gloves, Garden Gloves or Trash Pickers, A Reusabel Water Bottle.
Water dispenser and hand sanitizers will be available. Don't forget to protect your self with sunscreen and sunglasses!

The Crab Trap in Destin will provide a complimentary pancake breakfast after the cleanup to all registered volunteers starting at 9am.
