JP Soars is not your typical blues guitarist, with unique influences seen in his latest CD, "Full Moon Night" with tones of funk, jazz, and rock. Soars and the Red Hots won the 2009 International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee. Rounding out the Red Hots is Chris Peet on drums. Peet learned to respect music early on, growing up in a family of musicians. Steve Laucdicina was first introduced to blues at age seven, shortly after picking up the guitar and running with it. Laucdicina met up with JP Soars and decided he wanted to play blues full time, as a member of JP Soars and the Red Hots he continues to learn and grow with the group. The newest member to the Red Hots is Charles Gasper, joining up in 2015. His love for the electric guitar started young and has since refined his skills, helping his musical passion to bloom.
