Here's a very important presentation about LIVING with BEARS as we do her in Walton County. South Walton Community Council will be hosting the presentation by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. As more developent continues it's important to understand these amazing creatures.

The presentation will be held on Thursday, November 9th at 6:30 PM in the Coastal Branch Library located at 637 Greenway Trail in Santa Rosa Beach, so mark your calendars.

The event is free and open to the public.

South Walton Coastal Branch Library hosts year round events, lectures, children's story time, chess, tai chi, meditation and other classes open to the community. Stop in to see works of a local artist on display each month. The library is located at 437 Greenway Trail off Hwy. 331 South. Open Monday-Saturday. Closed Sunday. All residents and property owners of Walton County are eligible for a free library card. Nonresidents are eligible for a library card for an annual fee of $35.

Friends of  the Coastal Branch Library work to raise funds and awareness of Library services and programs. Friends membership is $10 per year and includes the quarterly newsletter Sea Oats. For more information about fundraising efforts, to volunteer, or for more information on how you can contribute, contact the library at 850-267-2809. The Friends of the Coastal Branch Library is a not for profit corporation.
