The Young Professionals of Walton County  (YPWC) will host a Professional Development luncheon, presented by Avantgarde Salon & Spa , on Thursday, Oct. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Vintij Food & Wine , now located in Grand Boulevard. The Lunch & Learn with Good Grit Magazine's Editor-in-Chief, Laura Bento, will feature an open discussion on Bento's favorie "F-word", Failure.

Having founded Good Grit Magazine in December 2014, with its first issue debuting in July 2015, Bento and her team have expanded Good Grit’s presence to 17 states, including New York and California. Ultimately Good Grit is using ink on a page to give a voice to the people, places and things that most closely articulate “The Character of the South.”

Cost to attend is $20 for YPWC members and $25 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased athttp://ypwaltoncounty.com. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited to the first 50 people.

Young Professionals of Walton County (YPWC) is affiliated with the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce and was formed to provide a venue for ambitious individuals to network and enhance their professional development skills.

Northwest Florida is flush with young, talented, hardworking and driven individuals that possess bulldog perseverance -- the characteristics we love to see in a coworker, colleague, teammate or business partner. However, given the national and local economy, Young Professionals need a platform to help them develop leadership skills and make the necessary connections that foster long term economic growth. All young professionals in Walton County are encouraged to join.

Grand Boulevard is located near the entrance to Sandestin. The lifestyle center features exclusive shops, fine dining, lush green space, contemporary accommodations, and a Starbucks drive-thru.
