Details
The Mardi Gras 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk will kick off Mardi Gras festivities at Pier Park, Panama City Beach, FL. The run/walk will be held at Frank Brown Park starting at 8 a.m. The fun run will start immediately following the 5K. We will have a Mardi Gras theme costume contest (please use discretion since families will be present!).
Awards will be given out to the O/A male and female runners along with masters, grandmasters and senior grandmasters male and female runners. Awards will also go 3 deep in 5 year age groups. All 5k walkers and 1 mile participants will receive awards in these categories: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-19, 20-34, 35-49, 50-64, 65 and up.
Post race beverages and snacks will be provided after the run. Mardi Gras beads to all participants!

Mardi Gras and Music Festival takes place at Pier Park March 1st & 2nd
Panama City Beach Mardi Gras and Music Festival is a two day festival and parade that takes place March 1st & 2nd. Join the Krewe of Dominique Youx in the heart of Pier Park as they celebrate the most fabulous Mardi Gras events around! Festivities include live concerts, Fat Tuesday Street Fair, Kidz Zone, float tours, costume contests, parades, a 5K run, and more. This free event is kid friendly and open to the public. Come out and enjoy the weekend with some New Orleans flair on the Emerald Coast.
