3:30 p.m. — Geoff McBride

From NBC’s “The Voice,” singer/songwriter Geoff McBride was first thrust into the national spotlight with a 1990 Arista recording contract. Soon after, he was heralded as “the next big
R&B powerhouse” under the tutelage of Arista icon Clive Davis. Since his early days at Arista, he had an invaluable opportunity to work with Aretha Franklin, Teddy Pendergrass, Whitney Houston and Ray Charles, among other musical giants. McBride has crafted a trademark style and repertoire often characterized as a cool blend of contemporary and classic rhythm & blues.

This award-winning artist has been labeled “Female Vocalist” and “Best Singer/Songwriter” and has earned recognition by the Texas Academy of Music. She has a diverse range. Though trained in opera she also has toured with country greats such as LeAnn Rimes and the Texas Opry Circuit. Today she blends her style of music from Texas country to the jazzy sounds of Billie Holiday and Adele.
