The Bay in South Walton is throwing down for Oktoberfest! On October 5, 2019, The Bay will offer traditional German fare and German beer all day, as well as live music with the Pickled Pickers from 6-9PM. The Bay encourages guests to wear their dirndl or lederhosen when they come to the party on the beach.
The evening will serve as a celebration of German culture and cuisine, as the staff will be dressed in traditional German attire (think St. Pauli Girl) with plates and mugs overflowing with authentic Bavarian food and drink. With fall heading our way, bonfires are even more enjoyable on the beach at The Bay and this will be the perfect night to kick off the fall event season.
The Bay is an award-winning, yet casual waterfront restaurant and bar created by Chef Jim Shirley with a reputation for serving some of the best grub in South Walton. But the hot spot’s namesake is what brought us there in the first place - the majestic Choctawhatchee (chock-tuh-hatch-ee) Bay of South Walton. It’s time to get back to basics and soak up what The Bay does best: beach, beer and buddies.
The bayfront joint is where the locals go to enjoy what life in South Walton is all about: cold beer, great food and spending time with friends and family on the water. Life doesn’t get much sweeter. Open daily for lunch and dinner! More information, photos and stories at SoWal Dining Guide | The Bay. Follow The Bay on Facebook for updates on specials and events.
