Protecting Florida’s Coast Film & Discussion at Idyll Hounds

In collaboration with Healthy Gulf, 350 Pensacola, and Climate Together Pensacola, Idyll Hounds Brewing Company will host Protecting Florida’s Coast, an evening of documentary films and discussion about the latest plans for offshore drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and the threat to Florida’s coast and beaches. Beginning at 7PM on Thursday, September 22, the four short films highlight grassroots movements around drilling, impacts from the 2010 BP oil disaster and the revolution in clean energy.

Following the films, local environmental advocates from Surfrider Emerald Coast, and Healthy Gulf will lead a discussion about how citizens can get engaged around the latest Federal plans for drilling in the Gulf.
