Bring out the whole family to enjoy live music with Rock On The Road at The Hub Sunday, April 28th from 5:30pm til 6:30pm. This Rock On The Road stop features performances by Zoe Walega and Dance Hall. Rock the Road is a non-profit built for students by students attending Ohana Institute.
Founded by Jonathan Mitchell, the band director of Ohana Institute, Rock on the Road provides students with everything they need to explore the music industry and get a taste of what it is like to be a professional musician. But for Ohana, equally important as pursuing students passions is giving back to the community. Each year students write and record at least one song for a non-profit organization, and perform at several schools across the South in order to share our passion for music and education.
The Ohana Institute is a non-profit, private, exploratory and innovative school serving middle and high school students in the Florida Panhandle. The school operates year-round on a flexible calendar that emphasizes project-based learning and combines both theoretical and real-world experiences for students through an engaging and broad array of subjects.
There is so much to see and do at The Hub on Scenic 30A in #SoWal.. Enjoy amazing Live Music Entertainment on the outdoor stage, Family Movie Night, their famous Friday DJ Dance Party and much more.
Shops at The Hub retails shops are just next door - art galleries, Luke Bryan's cigar shop, bike rentals, mens and women clothing, nail salon, gifts and accessories, sunglasses shop, apothecary store, and home decor.
The Hub is a festive gathering place for friends and families to eat, drink, shop, play and relax. Several restaurants and a bar featuring everything you can dream of from burgers to seafood, fried chicken, pizza, healthy wraps, BBQ, ice cream and cocktail concoctions. The restaurants are situated around a lawn and patio area with comfortable seating, fireplaces, event stage, and jumbotron. You'll find plenty of live music concerts and other entertainment such as sports or movies on the big screen. There's something happening every night.
The Hub is located on the south side of Scenic 30A at WaterSound Beach between Seagrove Beach and Alys Beach. You can't miss it - the greatest backyard party of all time is going on now. Open daily 11am-9pm. See restaurants and menus online at hub30a.com.
