Seaside Writers Conference: 2 Day Workshop

Matt Bondurant and Seth Brady Tucker will present a 2 Day - 4 Session Workshop at Seaside Writers Conference May 22-23 from 9-10am and 6-7pm (Both days).

This workshop gives writers an opportunity to work-and receive substantive feedback-on their own fiction, while we also learning from current professional writers and scholars (Matt Bondurant and Seth Tucker) and maybe even 'steal' some of their best moves. In addition to an in-depth examination of your story, we'll cover daily craft topics and in-class writing experiments. We'll examine how tension, plot, voice, detail, and clarity can help shape and inform and ultimately create impactful and rich writing. We'll fill up our writing toolbox with strategies, techniques, and wisdom-all while having a blast. Ideal for those with experience reading, writing, and critiquing fiction, but beginners with a finished piece are invited to join us. Cost is $150.

The Seaside Writers Conference is a program in which the public is invited to spend two weeks of intensive writing workshops, one day seminars, school outreach programs and social events. This event raises awareness for creative writing. Participants will be able to take part in daily activities. Professional writers will travel to Seaside to help anybody interested in writing.
