Matt Bondurant will present Researching & Adapting Real Life & History in Fiction at Seaside Writers Conference May 21 from 9-10am.

Nearly everybody has a family story that they think would make a good book. This seminar will take a look at a variety of strategies for turning these historical moments, characters, and myths into compelling fiction. Cost is $25.

The Seaside Writers Conference is a program in which the public is invited to spend two weeks of intensive writing workshops, one day seminars, school outreach programs and social events. This event raises awareness for creative writing. Participants will be able to take part in daily activities. Professional writers will travel to Seaside to help anybody interested in writing.
