Amavida Rosemary Beach is hosting an opening reception for "Seeking the Village" featuring new works by local maker Liza Snyder on Friday, May 29 from 7-9pm. Works will be up through July 8. Enjoy a live musical performance by Liza Anne of Nashville
Liza Snyder is a local maker. Trained as a fine artist, she took a leave of absence from creating for twelve years, and now considers herself a beginner again. She believes every day is an opportunity to remain teachable and open to inspiration. Liza’s present work includes painting, mixed media, figure drawing and, most recently, surface pattern design. The pieces created for “Seeking the Village” consist primarily of stylized florals on canvas. This body of work is both playful and grounded, and representative of the artist’s exploration of the villages and individuals that make up 30-A.
