As part of the continuing Art in Public Places, Sharon Long will display her work at the Coastal Branch Library for the month of June. Free for the public.

Sharon Long is a local watercolor artist, instructor, and publisher who has lived in the South Walton area for 30 years. Long's specially designed palette system simplifies the process of creating rich, vivid colors and strong values. Through painting and teaching, she shares her inspirations from her life of travel with her husband, Robert.

Reading with a Ranger on the First Thursday of the month at 10am. This program takes place at the Walton County Coastal Branch Library (437 Greenway Trail). A fun story time for children to learn about nature with a Park Ranger. FREE and open to all SoWal kids! Thanks to Topsail Hill Preserve State Park Rangers!

South Walton Coastal Branch Library hosts year round events such as book sales, community programs and lectures, children's story time, chess, tai chi, meditation and other classes open to the community. Stop in to see works of a local artist on display each month.
