South Walton Fashion Week celebrates high fashion with an impressive schedule for its 2016 festivities including the launch party, runway shows, special designer shows, trunk show events and pop-up shops all beginning Wednesday, October 5 through Sunday, October 9.
The main event takes place in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin under the SWFW tent, which includes the Style Lounge featuring pop-up boutiques, a VIP lounge and a full bar, along with the main theater and runway. Other exciting fashion events, parties and trunk shows take place in boutiques, bars, restaurants and venues throughout South Walton.
Emerging designers from around the country will arrive to South Walton Fashion Week to debut their latest collections with the hope of being selected as the Emerging Designer of 2016. Nearly 100 models from around the Southeast will walk the SWFW Runway showcasing original designs and their own talent, but only two will walk away with the Sheila Goode Model of the Year Awards.

South Walton Fashion Week (SWFW) was created in 2013 by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) as a way to showcase South Walton’s growing fashion scene and increase cultural tourism while raising funds for the CAA’s Art For All Program, which provides much-needed arts education dollars to teachers, students, artists and arts organizations. SWFW is presented by Visit South Walton and produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County in partnership with Monark Events.
Tickets will be on sale at swfw.org with special lodging packages, VIP packages, launch party tickets and much more.
Grand Boulevard is a “must-see” destination that offers hotels, shopping and dining options, entertainment and lodging.
