The Seaside Institute presents Architectural Photography and Composition Workshop with Steven Brooke October 19-23 in Seaside, Florida. This dynamic five day workshop combines the history of architectural depiction and composition with an accessible approach to the technical demands of photographing architecture, landscape, and interiors. The workshop is suitable for students of all ability levels and backgrounds – from professional architects and real estate professionals to travelers for whom architecture and design is a passion. The workshop covers the photography of individual buildings, streetscapes, landscapes, interiors, and night photography and includes instruction in photographic techniques, composition, and post-production.

Internationally recognized photographer Steven Brooke has been photographing architecture and design for over thirty-five years. He has photographed forty books on architecture and design, including nine that he has written. He has been Seaside’s Photographer of Record since its inception. His numerous awards and honors include the AIA National Honor Award, the highest honor award in the field, and the Rome Prize awarded by the American Academy in Rome. Steven is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami School of Architecture. His work may be seen

The Seaside Institute Academic Village, located in the civic heart of Seaside, provides a contemplative center of learning and quiet accommodations for participants in Institute programs.
