Join the South Walton Community Council for a public forum on Beach Activities on Monday, September 10th at 6:45 pm at the Walton County Coastal Branch Library. The purpose is to give the public and opportunity to discuss trash collection on the beach, code enforcement, beach vendors, and public beach access and develop some workable solutions.

Once they collect this input, SWCC will make recommendations to the BCC. Brian Kellenberger, TDC Director of Beach Operations, will join us to provide background and act as a resource.

The South Walton Community Council is a 501c3 nonprofit and nonpartisan organization dedicated to preserving, protecting and enhancing the quality of life and the unique natural environment in South Walton County. Founded in 1995, SWCC is a coalition of community leaders, residents, property owners, neighborhoods and businesses united in the belief that South Walton is a very special place worth protecting.

South Walton Coastal Branch Library hosts year round events such as book sales, community programs and lectures, children's story time, chess, tai chi, meditation and other classes open to the community.
