Live music with the Wildlife Specials on stage at Redds Fueling Station in Blue Mountain Beach - behind Sally's by the Sea Store! At Redds Fueling Station, the fuel for good times is equal parts beloved tunes, yummy food, and cold drinks.
The Wildlife Specials are an Americana and Rock N’ Roll band that includes John Mark Turner and Scott Crompton, along with drummer Richard Proctor (Tishamingo) and bassist Billy Garrett. With 120+ combined years of touring, recording and song writing experience between them, The Wildlife Specials are a unique assortment of talented players who met up in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. After sharing the stage and studio with the likes of Darryl Jones and Bernard Fowler of the Rolling Stones, Widespread Panic, Bob Margolin, Hubert Sumlin, Johnny Shines, Willy Green, Daniel Lanois, among many others, they both ended up in Santa Rosa Beach and decided to form The Wildlife Specials (named after a roadside food vendor in NOLA).
